Right To Know?
Expo Square President and CEO Rick Bjorkland is fired this week after problems surface regarding rent payments from Big Splash. The Tulsa Public Facitilities Authority, also known as the Fair Board, voted unanimously to terminate Bjorkland, but when pressed for a reason for the termination, they refused to answer, citing "Executive Session Privilege". Are to many of Tulsa's dealings happening behind closed doors? Do you think the public has a right to know if Bjorkland was fired over giving Big Splash special treatment? What are your thoughts?
