Right To Know?

Expo Square President and CEO Rick Bjorkland is fired this week after problems surface regarding rent payments from Big Splash.  The Tulsa Public Facitilities Authority, also known as the Fair Board, voted unanimously to terminate Bjorkland, but when pressed for a reason for the termination, they refused to answer, citing "Executive Session Privilege".  Are to many of Tulsa's dealings happening behind closed doors?  Do you think the public has a right to know if Bjorkland was fired over giving Big Splash special treatment?  What are your thoughts?

Scared Straight or Scared Stiff?

A uniformed police officer goes into a California classroom and makes the startling announcement that 2 of the students' fellow classmates have died in a drunk driving crash.  The officer places a single rose on one of the "dead" student's desks then leaves.  Two hours later, students are called to an assembly where they watch a re-enactment of the crash scene with officers and firemen pulling the "bodies" from the wreckage.  The intent, to shock students into understanding the possible effects of drinking and driving.  Do you think the school went to far in allowing this type of display?  What are your thoughts?

What is the solution to illegal immigration?

Shut down the borders or shut down the American businesses that knowingly employ illegal immigrants?  What do you think will solve the illegal immigration problem?

Does the "Whitey" video really exist?

Rumors abound about a so-called "Whitey" video which reportedly shows Michelle Obama speaking at a 2004 Conference at Trinity United Church, where she rants and raves about "Whitey".  Do you believe the rumors?  Is this acceptable behavior for a possible 1st Lady?  What are your thoughts?
